One cable replaces 90 bench-cables?

Yes or more. The C2 Cable supports 97 ECUs.

Four cables with original connectors do the job of 250 bench cables?

Correct.

Can I really connect 73% of ECUs instantly with just four cables?

Absolutely.

With a few additional cables, can I cover up to 87% of ECUs, which means around 320 different types?

Sure.

How does it work?

This is a completely new approach to ECU bench (and boot) connections for chiptuning, repair, and cloning. Our exclusive and unique solution utilizes a special multiplexer box and cables with original ECU connectors (94+60 pins, 96+58 pins, 105+91 pins, 56-56 pins and more), eliminating the need for manually connecting individual colored wires pin by pin  in bench/boot mode. – or buy countless individual bench-cables for the same coverage

The multiplexing technology allows the box to intelligently redirect power and signals to the appropriate ECU pins based on the selected configuration.

 

If an ECU has multiple wiring configurations, does it support them as well?

Yes. There are approximately 400 different wiring variations for the 320 ECUs, and it is expandable.

Is boot mode really supported?

 

Yes, boot mode is supported. In boot mode, Express provides the power and communication lines, and also forwards the boot, reset, and CNF signals through its 3.5mm jack output. You’ll need to manually connect them after opening the ECU.

Is OBD mode (resets, coding, flashing) supported on the bench?

 

Yes, with our OBD to Express adapter, you can connect any scanner or tuning tool to Express, enabling support for ECUs on the desk. This is a great feature for ECU reset, coding, adaptation, and even flashing via an OBD protocol, as long as your tool and the selected ECU support it.

Is this the final list, or can new ECUs be added?

We can add new ECUs via software updates at any time, as long as they have connectors compatible with our cables and meet other necessary conditions. We can also develop additional cables and configure the Express Box accordingly. Updates provide fixes and new features seamlessly.

Can I try it?

Of course! Buy one, test it for a month, and if for any reason you’re not satisfied, simply return it, and we’ll refund your purchase price.

Is it really impossible to damage the ECU with it?

We haven’t managed to do it – not even when we tried hard during testing. Of course, there’s a minimal chance if you select the wrong ECU or if the unit is already faulty.

Express checks everything before powering up:
✔ Is the correct cable connected for the selected ECU?
✔ Is the power supply safe?
✔ Does the ECU’s power consumption and profile match expectations?

It only connects if all tests pass, minimizing the risk of errors – unlike pin-by-pin wiring or traditional bench cables, which offer no protection at all.

Is there a subscription fee?

No. It’s a one-time investment, just like a traditional cable.

Can I use Express Cable with my existing tuning tools?

Yes! Express Cable is compatible with all tuning tools. We offer affordable adapters for the 15 most popular tools. Thanks to its unified connection platform, you can connect and switch between tools in seconds.

Are the tuning tool adapters included in the price?

 

No. We have developed 10 types of adapters, covering the 15 most popular tuning tools. The cheapest option is our universal adapter, priced at around 20 EUR, while the most advanced microcontroller-based adapter for Flex costs around 200 EUR.

You can connect any tuning tool using the universal adapter, but using specific adapters for different tools is the most convenient and professional solution.

How expensive is it? Can I afford it?

You should answer that. With minimal investment (during our current sales in August 2025), you get permanent activation for 15 ECUs and instant access to 215 more in demo mode (you can try all) — all for the price of just 10 regular bench cables with the Standard Package.

The Story Behind Express – A Tuner’s Vision

I’m Richárd, founder of Rigotech Chiptuning and the creator of the Express system. I graduated as a car mechanic in 1994 and later pursued a career in automotive electronics and electrical engineering. Since 1999, I have been running one of the largest chiptuning companies in Hungary.

Since the introduction of bench mode in 2018, wiring has been a challenge. Our fourth-generation development, launched in 2023, led to the current Express system and its cables—bringing an end to the pin-by-pin wiring era once and for all. It establishes a hyper-fast, secure connection method for both beginners and professionals alike. – all of this at a very affordable price

Express performs electrical tests before powering up the ECU. It checks the power supply (voltage, power), connected cables, peak current on the ECU’s power pins, average current, and conducts a special current profile check for the selected ECU to ensure it is safe to power up. Express only connects the ECU if all tests pass. Incorrect wiring or wrong ECU selection won’t cost you a new ECU.

I received my package today arrived quickly and safe. I was lucky enough to get the very first C2 cable too. I ran a few tests straight away testing both cables. I tested Edc17cp11 Range Rover and Edc17cp52 with my tools I had on hand. I tested with Bflash, Kess3 ,Dfox, PCMflash and Bitbox with Scanmatik. As an extra I tested with scan tool to clear dpf data etc prior to flashing.
I can report it was 100% flawless!
