Update possibilities

Firmware update

We intend to release updates with new connections / functions added, and bug fix.
You can update your Express by using the ‘Express-updater’ application, and the latest firmware image file. If there is an update, you can find it under the news section. – that hasn’t been released yet

Configuration update

It is possible to activate new wirings (virtual ECU cables) by software. So if you may don’t have full version of Cx cables, and there is an ECU, or a group of ECUs that are inactive, you can buy them later. (Contact support if need any). After you have bought the update, we’ll send you (or got automatically) a new configuration file for your Express. You can upload it with the ‘Express-updater’ application. – (that hasn’t been released yet)

Before any update you need to connect the Express box to your PC on USB. Our Express-updater application needs Windows.
